Nun Faux Pas
Nun Faux Pas was the second RockItt album and the first to be released on the Korma Record label. The band were under pressure to deliver another album to capitalize on the success of Dry Tongue - Wet Lips and deliver they did... in spades. The album title Nun Faux Pas was inspired by an incident at the first meeting of Wayne Kranium and Shag Fury at The Blue Nun wine bar in Truro. It contains another powerful collection of hard-hitting rock anthems and firmly established RockItt as a musical force to be reckoned with. The cover of the album featured Wayne Kranium's French girlfriend Tallulah Mingé (later to become his first wife) in an evocative rubber nun costume. The original concept for the album cover had to be dropped following an outcry by the Catholic Church and direct intervention from the Pope. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
