FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fury: rehearsals going wellRockItt keyboard player Shag Fury says that the band's rehearsals are progressing well in their secret location near Bath, UK.July 19, 2007 -- RockItt continue to rehearse in a secret location just outside Bath in the southwest of the UK. It is understood that the band are practicing without lead singer Thor Stingray ahead of their Autumn tour. Keyboard player Shag Fury jetted in to the West Country from his mansion in Spain to join the rest of the band for a intensive period of rehersal. He said "Yeah, rehearsals have been going well. Musically Wayne and I clicked again immediately and the Minty Clinch / Wayne Krainum combination is one of the solidest rhythm sections around; it's like they've never been apart. Buzz [Muffberger; the band's new guitarist] has settled in really well and has immediately picked up some of the quite complicated RockItt numbers. We've been rehearsing the Outside medley which is complex and after a few runs through we were right back there..." Fury, 27, wouldn't be drawn on whether vocalist Thor Stingray, who only joined the band in 2006, had already quit the band after a bust-up. "I don't want to talk about Thor" said Fury. "It's true that the band have been rehearsing without him, but that's so that the musicians in the band can gel" he continued.
