FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thor Stingray to quit RockItt?Sources close to the band say that lead vocalists Thor Stingray has left the bandMay 14, 2007 -- Rumours are circulating that Thor Stingray has sensationally quit rock band RockItt citing personal reasons. Lead vocalist Stingray, 25, only joined the band in 2006 when they reformed after a five year absence. Thor, whose former bands include The Rumpus Boys and Hot Stu and the Meatballs was unavailable for comment and his agent, Roberto Flatulence, was also being tightlipped saying "I don't know anything about this, now please get out of my bath room". A source close to the band has said "He's definitely off. There is no chance that Thor will be playing with those tosspots again" and suggested that Thor may have had musical differences with guitarist Buzz Muffberger. Thor was allegedly overhead to call Muffberger, who was also part of The Rumpus Boys, "a useless twat" as the guitarist struggled to master a lead solo. The source also said that Stingray was concerned that Shag Fury's immense charisma was upstaging him. No one from the band was available to comment.
