After an 18 month break, RockItt returned to the studio in the summer of 1999 looking to recapture the critical success of their powerhouse rock albums.  In order to augment the famous RockItt sound they recruited a new vocalist in the form of female singer Flame Thrower.  Thrower, daughter of English celebrity gardener Percy Thrower, had no musical background but was introduced to the group by Wayne Kranium.  Kranium and Thrower met at a charity event in a Soho club.  The pair disappeared to a hotel room for three full days to talk over plans for the band and when they emerged from their retreat Flame was a member of the group.  It was in that hotel room that Kranium got the inspiration for the album title but no one is sure exactly how.  Thrower's vocals give Suck a different feel to previous RockItt albums but the Fury / Kranium partnership is as strong as ever and the album contains some classic tracks.  Once again though reviewers were critical and, despite going triple platinum in Chad, overall sales suffered accordingly.  Yet another expensive legal battle followed with Korma Records suing a number of Fleet Street newspapers for defamation and loss of income.  The legal wrangles took their toll and the following year RockItt broke up.
