Stunning blonde vocalist Margot Chutney gained a place in one of the world's
biggest rock acts by winning the RockItt Idol competition in December
2007. Chutney beat literally thousands of hopefuls to win through in the final
showdown against four other finalists.
Chutney, a former truck driver from Branston in Derbyshire, UK, has a silky
but powerful voice and was mentored in the RockItt Idol competition by
bass player Wayne Kranium. The pair have since become firm friends and
rumours of romance between the two circulated after they spent a considerable
amount of time in each other's hotel rooms during the filming of RockItt Idol
- rumours strongly denied by both camps.
